Elias (Eli) ben Jacob, the brother of Meir seems to have been under temporary protection in 1618, 1634 and 1635 [R1508; 05.04.1618]. He does not appear to have been married. He has little economic impact. His brother Meir named one of his sons after his brother. .

The Jews pay 20 florins for this permission. Eli is to discuss with the count how long he may stay.

The town claims 800 florins for now as the quarter share, but the Jews only offer 100 florins.
